I Am…
I Am…Excited and nervous about the first day of my first year at the University of Virginia. I am excited because I made it to this day. I am nervous because of all the things I don’t know that I don’t know.
Everything I have done to prepare for this moment will be proven correct and will most certainly benefit me. There are so many first year students going through this rite of passage. How are you doing out there? Are you nervous, excited, or something else maybe?
A desire for a good education and a stellar rowing program is what brought me here to UVA. What went into your decision making process? Regardless of how or why, you made it, hang in there, you can do it. What comes from accomplishing this goal of an education will you bring you great things, unimaginable things. It is worth the effort.
